The Allison 10L1000 torque converter is a great design for a stock truck. However, adding more than 75hp will quickly overpower the stock clutch setup. Unfortunately, with the way this unit is made, there is no way to use this core to make it handle more power. We have redesigned this unit completely and there are ZERO parts used from the stock 10L1000 converter. What you are getting is a completely redesigned product, not just a billet front cover with some clutches. This unit is a bolt in unit and can be ran with a factory transmission and flexplate without any modifications. All Allison 10L1000 torque converters feature billet torque converter stators. We do not use any cast or factory stators, just 100% solid billet. All units feature a damper to smooth lockup engagement and a billet apply piston. The piston insures that the clutch is applied squarely and will not warp with heat. Revmax stage 5 converters have no horsepower or torque limitations, we dare you to break it! SHIPPING INFORMATION

-Shipping And Core Policy Terms

Freight cost on shipping Transmissions is currently $875.00 to the lower 48 states but Next Level Engine & Transmission reserves the right to raise prices according to “going rates”. Freight costs are to cover shipping of the built unit and the return core. Cores must be returned within 2 weeks of receiving the new transmission.

​All cores are inspected for damage such as broken cases, broken shafts, excessive hard part failure. Next Level Engine & Transmission will deduct the cost of these replacement parts from the core money. Prices are based on replacement costs only. We are not interested in making money on broken parts only returning cores to a buildable state.

​Whenever possible, Next Level Engine & Transmission will supply a core return tag for parts that have core charges associated with them. Return shipping costs are factored into the final shipping costs on your invoice. Parts cores are expected to be returned within 10 days. Do not just assume that if your part is damaged that you will not receive a core return. Many parts are expected to have damage and are returned to the manufacturer as such.

-Core Refunds

All cores are paid out as soon as possible. All cores will be inspected before a refund will be issued.  Refunds are issued 1-2 weeks after inspection via direct deposit or other form or payment discussed with accounting department.

HOT SHOT TRUCK DRIVERS: WARRANTY IS 12 MONTH / 12,000 MILES.

*PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE INSTALLING A TRANSMISSION YOURSELF, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE THE TRANSMISSION COOLER FLUSHED BY A PROFESSIONAL PRIOR TO THE TRANSMISSION INSTALL. FAILURE TO DO SO, MAY RESULT IN CONTAMINATED FLUID AND OLD MATERIAL GETTING INTO THE NEW UNIT. POURING ATF THROUGH THE COOLER (or KOOLER KLEEN) IS NOT SUFFICIENT ENOUGH.

​90-day limited workmanship warranty 90-day limited workmanship warranty will not cover broken cases or shafts of transmission. Abuse, misuse, or burn down due to operator error will void warranty. Any warranty work must be performed at Next Level Engine & Transmission. It is the vehicle owner’s responsibility to ship transmission or vehicle to Next Level’s location for all repairs needing to be performed. Any repairs to transmission not authorized by Next Level Engine & Transmission will void warranty and will not be covered by Next Level Engine & Transmission.

- 68RFE 2 Year unlimited mile limited warranty (Black Widow 500, 600 & 800)

 68RFE 2 Year unlimited mile limited warranty will not cover broken cases or shafts of transmission including the 4th clutch hub. Any tires larger than a 35” tire must have proper gearing or warranty will be voided. Vehicle owner is responsible for having proper transmission tuning as transmission failure due to lack of tuning or improper tuning will not be a covered failure. Abuse, misuse, or burn down due to operator error will void warranty. Any warranty work must be performed at Next Level Engine & Transmission in Phoenix AZ. It is the vehicle owner’s responsibility to ship transmission or vehicle to Next Level’s location for all repairs needing to be performed. Any repairs to transmission not authorized by Next Level Engine & Transmission will void the warranty and will not be covered by Next Level. Line Pressure must be verified by a professional for warranty to be active.

-Appropriate gear ratios:  -35" tire min gearing is 3:73 recommended 4:10  -37" tire min gearing is 4:10 recommended 4:30  -Larger than that should be running a 4:56 ratio.
